BASIC FIRE EDUCATION

The size of the workplace and the special hazards it carries, the nature of the work done, the number of employees and the number of employees in the workplace in order to combat emergencies, in clause (1) c of the 11th article of the Occupational Health and Safety Law No. 6331 published in the Official Gazette dated 30.06.2012 and numbered 28339 by the Ministry of Labor and Social Security. taking into account other persons; It assigns a sufficient number of people who are appropriately equipped and trained in prevention, protection, evacuation, fire fighting, first aid and similar issues, provides the tools and materials, makes the training and drills and ensures that the teams are always ready.

In addition, “Regulation on the Protection of Buildings in Fire” published in the Official Gazette dated 19.12.2007 and numbered 26735 and the decision of the Council of Ministers dated 10.08.2009 and numbered 2009/15316, “Protection of Buildings in Fire,” published in the Official Gazette dated 09.09.2009 and numbered 27344. The Regulation on the “Regulation” requires businesses to form Fire Safety Teams and to provide them with the necessary fire training and applied fire drills at least once a year.

Up to 30 employees in workplaces in the very dangerous class, 40 employees in the workplaces in the dangerous class, and up to 50 employees in the workplaces in the less dangerous class;

assigns at least one specially trained and appropriately equipped employee for each of its subjects as support staff. If there are more employees in the workplace, one more support staff should be assigned for every 30, 40 and up to 50 employees according to the hazard class.

Purpose: Within the scope of the Regulation on the Protection of Existing Buildings from Fire, all personnel working in Institutions and Organizations: To take necessary protective measures to prevent possible fire incidents in all kinds of structures, buildings, facilities and businesses, to apply extinguishing and rescue techniques during fire, to provide existing personnel with fire safety. to inform, to transform knowledge into skills, to introduce protective equipment and extinguishing materials and devices to be used in case of fire, to teach possible fire extinguishing techniques and building – facility evacuation procedures.
